Brandon James


Brandon has been coaching in San Diego since 2011 at the Collegiate level for 6 years and 4 years at the high school level. Brandon played at two junior college programs before heading to San Diego to play NAIA baseball with the San Diego Christian Hawks. He has been coaching since he stopped playing with San Diego Show travel program for almost 5 years and helping various travel/college teams during the 8 years. Mike Butterfield


Coach Mike is a former San Diego baseball stand out athlete in the San Diego area at Mount Miguel HS. He has been coaching in San Diego at the Collegiate level for 10+ years. He currently serves as the hitting coach at Southwestern College going into his third year. Coach Butters and Coach B have been coaching side by side for the past 9 seasons in travel ball at the from the Collegiate level to 14u. Joe Mackin


Coach Mackin is currently a Varsity assistant coach at El Capitan HS. 

Tyler Martinez


Tyler is currently a coach at San Diego High School where he is an alumni. He has been able to be a big influences on multiple kids including Michael Parades who is currently at San Diego State. In his young coaching career he has helped more athletes develop a arm care program, understanding of the game and untimely helping players get to the collegiate status.

Tanner Smith


Tanner Smith is a current player in NCAA recruiting portal. He played at Valhalla HS where he held a 1.68 era in his senior year. He will be helping the 14u team during practices and games while he is continuing his own dream of playing at the highest level in college. 

Fall Coaching Staff

Trenton Brooks (Cleveland Indians) MiLB


Trenton just finished his second full season in the Cleveland Indians Single A system. He is a 17th round draft pick out of Nevada University (Granite Hills Alum).  Trenton had 3 walk offs this season and ended with a .281 batting average for the Lynchburg Hillcats. He lead the Hillcats in 8 different hitting categories and was able to play in multiple MLB Spring Training games in the 2019 season where he hit a home run off Ian Kennedy. He got married this off-season and has made big strides in developing many kids through the Gametime organization. Trenton dedicates his time to the program to give back to the players.

Tyler Thomas (Texas Rangers) MiLB


Tyler just finished his first full season for the Texas Rangers A+ team (Down East Wood Ducks) finishing the season with a 2.85 era after being traded for Jesse Chavez from the Chicago Cubs. He is a 7th round draft pick out of Fresno State Uni (Mira Mesa HS Alum). In his first season with the Eugene Emerald Thomas struck out 24 batters in 19 innings. He has been the MVP of Team USA Collegiate Team, Cape Cod 9-0 with a 1.69 era championship. He also led the nation at one point in strikes outs while at Fresno State including a 15 strikeout game vs UC Riverside. In the offseason Tyler dedicates his time to the program to give back to the players.

Tyler Flores (SF Giants) MiLB


Tyler recently completed his first rookie ball season with the San Francisco Giants after being drafted out of Point Loma Naz University and is currently in his second season with the Giants. He broke the home run record there with 23 and in his first rookie league season he hit .291 with Giants Rookie team in Arizona. Tyler dedicates his time to the program to give back to the players.
